Yes and No if you are using a contractor and want it done to plans then I would have plans. If you are doing it yourself then you know what you want?
But all plumbing should have a permit also electrical and windows
Not necessarily. Your building contractor is fully capable of helping you with design. Then, all you need is a quality draftsman to draw up a set of plans. Many Contractors have the ability to do the plans as well. All they need is a CAD program and the know how.
Architect’s are not need for a basic bathroom addition or remodel. Most contractors have a draftsman or in-house designers that are able to put together a set of plans for such task. Some more technically advanced contractors even have 3D modeling software that allows you to get a better visualization of the end product.
Cheers.
Not necessarily. Just that you agree with your contractor and they are both in the same condition or the contractor suggests the best for the client. I think the suggestions are the best.
Like many contractors, when drafting and designing a bathroom a contractor or remodeling professional can design while if you want the bathroom to be more modern and efficient and design wise looking better you can hire a contractor but it would cost more.
An architect is not needed for a basic bathroom remodel. Most general contractors have a in house designers that would put together a functional floor plan based on the clients needs and design style. If you are planning to add square footage to your home by building out a bathroom a structural engineer may be required to review, calculate, and stamp the blue prints to summit to the city.
