We are looking at buying a home that has been rented for 5 years. The owner has not stepped for into the home in 4 years. Just from looking, It needs new paint inside and out, a new deck, water damage to the chimney, and the shower and tub in the master are in pretty bad shape. What is considered normal wear and tear on a house and the seller is asking 278,000 is it crazy to ask 267,000 to cover all the repairs? How much would all of the repairs end up costing?
