If a contractor is working on a job for a customer who is out of town for an extended period of time would you go though the trouble of progress videos or are pictures enough?
Definitely progress videos! They are quicker , faster and more efficient. You can capture one day of progress explain what’s been done with audio put it on and email it to the customer. My customers love this love this.

The idiom “A picture is worth a thousand words” refers to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image, or that an image of a subject conveys its meaning/essence more effectively than a description does. It also aptly characterizes one of the main goals of visualization, namely making it possible to absorb large amounts of data quickly.
Great question, S&S Custom Home Designs, Inc. I want to take a different approach to this question and take it a step further. If you are a contractor that is currently filming videos and discussing the project on the video, then use the video(s) for promotion and marketing. If you are doing the two aforementioned actions, then you are most likely confident in your knowledge and understanding the project as well as overall construction. Therefore, use the opportunity to promote your business and drive traffic to your website. Video marketing budgets are increasing this year and an emphasis is being placed on video production for content creation for websites. So, if you are taking videos, I encourage you to think about the verbal content and think about delving into using simple editing tools and publishing the videos online. It is a great step to increasing exposure.
