Should I use Benjamin Moore Aura with 1 coat? or the BM Ben with 2 coats?

the ben is 32 per gallon and the aura is 54. that is a $22 difference, but on the other hand if I can get away with only 1 coat, the expensive Aura can be a lot cheaper then the Ben with 2 coats.
thanks

Your best bet is to contact the Benjamin Moore dealer or local Product Representative to explain the exact situation you are dealing with. They know their products better than anyone and can make the best recommendation to achieve the best results based on the conditions in your project. The answer will depend on several factors, such as: What material / substrate are you painting? is the substrate primed? Are you trying to conceal any markings or defects on the original surface?, etc…and by the way, they will help you for free! (especially since you are paying for their product!)

I have used the Aura product multiple times and always have great results. I do not have any experience with the Ben32 product. As you stated, 2 coats of Ben32 will cost you $10 more to cover the same area.

Good luck.

I have not had much luck with any of the one coat paints.
We still prime and 2 coats.

Perfect ten construction always applies 2 coats of paint minimum. All conditions are different, When you apply the first coat and it drys you will have to determine if it is to the costumers satisfactory
