I’ve been working on more custom home projects recently, many of which are still working with architects to build out plans.
What are some great, intuitive features you’ve seen installed in custom homes that are unusual or often overlooked?
One example would be lighting. I’ve seen a couple custom builds put timed and motion-activated lighting along staircases, and built-in fixtures at the sides of a bed to sit over the end tables. But what are some other details that can really make a property stand out?
