I’m remodeling the stairwell in an apartment building I own and am torn about the material to use. I could use industrial carpet for durability, but the look isn’t very high end (which is important - we want to attract high end clientele). I could do wood, but am worried it will be noisy. Ultimately, it needs to stand up to heavy traffic, not be too noisy, and be durable, while also looking modern and high end.
What do contractors recommend?
