A lot depends on your taste. In addition to being a custom Home Builder and Remodeling Contractor, I am also a Licensed Realtor. Our clients are wanting a cleaner look to their bathrooms. Many are moving away from the ornate detail to more simpler and modern looks. For example, many of our clients are now putting tiling on their bathroom walls that extend from the floor to a height of about 5’ and are using white subway tile laid in a brick pattern and topped of with Schluter strips for an accent. It’s different from what you will find in many traditional homes but we are seeing more and more homeowners and potential buyers looking for this in their homes.
