I have a lot in Diamond Valley Prescott (Lot # 103-16-127) and would like to build a +/- 1400 sf contemporary home there. (address 4640 E Joan Dr) need to know the required set-backs to finalize preliminary siting plans
You will find the set back requirements within the zoning codes for your city. Most Municipalities have websites where you can find this information. You will first need to know what Zoning District your property sits in. Then look up the requirements. You can search your zoning district by your address. Note: be sure you identify any easements that are on the property. Usually utility and drainage easements are within developments.
if you don’t find the information on line, call the City Building/Planning Department. Most are very happy to help. Best of luck.
Also, if your property is in a PUD or a Site Condominium development, the setbacks will be noted in a section of the Restrictive Covenants. You would have received the documents as part of your closing package.
