We’re halfway through a 2 month reno. My contractor has become very unresponsive and his team is only showing up 1 or 2 days per week. I know he has other projects, but I’m living without a kitchen and we’re falling behind schedule!
What are my options to pressure him to make my project a priority?
Hopefully you have a schedule of values and time frame for completion of project. Hold him responsible for time of completion.Then tell the contractor (licensed ?) that you will back charge him for the time they exceed the designated due date. That’s if there was no change orders or delays due to owner or unforeseen circumstances.
