Pex is 100 times better. Will not corrode. Will outlast copper especially in hardwater areas.
Pex Needs to stop at SubFloor. All Plumbing inside structure should be Copper. This is for strength and structure and the anchoring of the plumbing fixtures valves etc. Nothing worse than loose fixtures.
