We have been using Buildzoom for about a year now and it works great for us. We realized that keeping the status of your leads updated really helps, so whenever we receive new leads, we follow up with them immediately and if we feel that we can not considering the job anymore, we close that lead. Which in return allows buildzoom to send us more leads. You will be surprised as to how many leads Buildzoom can send you in a day. Unlike other sites, their leads are real customers looking to do some serious work.

Responsiveness has been most effective. As soon as the lead comes in we answer it right away. If the customer does not pick up we leave a message and attempt to call again shortly there after.
We also follow up with an email when one is provided as well as a test message.
Our success rate has increased since implementing these practices.
Your question is a good one as I just joined Buildzoom yesterday and since then, I have logged in quite a few hours with reading and building my profile. As there is a learning curve to most everything, I have had a number of site use issues to which I have been quite pleased with the prompt response of the Buildzoom staff in resolving those questions and issues. In their emailed responses was a local Anchorage Alaska contact number to call, I did and a real person answered in 3 rings and resolved another issue.
Earlier today I sent out requests to a number of my past customers for their providing through Buildzoom, a brief review of their past experience in working with me and to several other general and specialty contractors requesting their recommendation of my company. I look forward to seeing their input as it will increase my standing with Buildzoom and with future clients who do their research when seeking a contractor.
