quality
Quality is always the most important. Its what keeps you in business for many years. Quality builds reputation, and a Good reputation keeps a steady flow of customers.
As a contractor you obviously strive for a balance between quantity and quality. Meaning that you want to maximize your quantity without sacrificing quality. Quality is always the top priority, however no matter how great your quality may be, without the quantity to sustain your business, you will eventually close your doors. It truly is a balancing act, if you get booked to the point where you must turn work away, or delay starting projects, that is going to have an adverse effect on you business eventually. The way I always view a project, and the quality I put into it is, would I pay what I am charging for the work I have done. If the answer is not a yes, then I haven’t done my job properly, and need to make it right. It always boils down to value for my customers. As a tradesman, my rates are not what you would call cheap, so keeping quality as the foundation of my business is essential.
Quality. Good design and craftsmanship are improved with the patina of age; everything else is destined for the landfill.
QUALITY WILL HAVE YOUR BUSINESS PHONE RINGING OFF THE HOOK.
Its always both. Its hard to get the right team for trinkets.
