What is the average length of time between permit issuance and payment collection on a project?

On average, how long does it typically take between the point you receive a permit and the point at which you receive full payment for a project?

There is a lot of variance between different types of projects so please clarify the type of work you do (e.g. residential remodeling) in your response.

With sunroom or screenroom additions that turn around time averages 4 weeks depending on size, type of detail requested and of course weather and availability of materials.

With our custom Aluminum pergolas and high end Louvered roofs again depending on size and custom options, any where from a 1 to 4 weeks

in remodeling that could occur any where from 3 weeks to 2 years. final payments takes place after you have closed.

It depends on the type, size, details and specifications of the project on hand. If materials are custome or stock. Weather plays another part on the time frame for exterior work to be completed. It can take any where from 3 months to 6 months for an average addition, or renovation project. New construction takes a different schedule and concept.
