What is the best floor material for bathroom floor?

The best material depends on the person. stone tile is strong and durable and does not wear down but since it is stone it gets a little cold if the floors are not heated. There is also Vinyl tiles. They last long and are more cheaper than stone and are warmer to the touch.

My opinion is stone tile is the way to go because it does not get water damaged. Vinyl tile if cut or cracked will have to be changed because they get water damaged really fast.

Tile and stone is one of your most durable. Water resistant yes, 95% of the time. The key is installations and proper water proof barriers where needed. These are for all materials suitable for this application. Besides in our showers, our company likes to install water proof membrane at any locations where water is a common place (next to the shower curb/tub) you still have grout lines and grout is still a pores material when not sealed properly or not at all. I hope this helps.

Cheers!
