Let’s take a standard bathroom remodel that would include paint, retiling, toilet/shower/sink replacement.
What would a reasonable expectation on total project time be?
What order would you do the work in?

First we would remove all the tile, comode, sink, bathtub, vanity, lights etc… retilling depends on where you want tile, example floor, walls half high, and bathtub area above bathtub.
You would start by installing the bathtub, then tile all wall areas, then the floor. paint all walls trim , install new lights, install vanity with countertop faucet , medicine cabinet, wall assesories, baseboard. its hard to give an exact time schedule because every house is different, is ith located down stairs or up stairs. the layout of the tile, etc… however based on our 35 years experiance is should taake around 7 to ten working days.
Depending on the scope of the job anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. A basic conversion that includes remvoing and existing bathtub, 3 existing surround walls and replacing them with a low threshold Accessible shower and new surround usually takes about 2-3 days inclusding caulking, paint etc.
Complete remodeling of a standard bathroom, takes approximately two weeks, witch include demolition, then new plumbing, electric, walls and floor , new tub or shower, walls and floor tiles, vanity and one or double sink, toilet, mirror, lights and hardware.
A normal time frame for a standard bathroom remodel usually will take 1-2 weeks. You should always remove all areas of the bathroom you are remodeling and or changing. Then rough in your plumbing and or mechanical work followed by the carpentry work and tile.
Hope this answers your question

A typical bathroom remodel can take between 2 to 3 weeks depending on how quickly each seperate contractor is performing
their work.
It will take approximately 2 - 2 1/2 weeks. After demo’ing the room, the rough plumbing, then sheetrock, tiling, then finish plumbing. Finally, painting. Two and a half weeks, average.
A typical 5 x 7 bath is generally a 8-11 project depending on the extent of the scope of work. For instance:
Demo down to studs, insulation where necessary, new tub, green board on walls not receiving tile, dense shield where tile is being installed on the walls, a waterproof membrane system on the tub surround and bath floor, tile installed, new tub, new shower diverter and fixture, new vanity, new commode, prime and paint, trim to include crown molding, new door and hardware, exhaust fan with light combo vented thru the roof.
Hi there,
If you choose to refinish (AKA reglaze) instead of replace, the work takes just HOURS and is ready for use the next day! The process lasts for years (10+ if professional refinished) and can be performed on tubs, tiles, sinks, countertops… pretty much every bathroom surface. There are solid colors and textured and/or granite simulation finishes available for most styles and repairs can be made such as shower door removal repairs and never seen. It is definitely worth checking out for 70-80% savings and the least down time available for updates.
Best of luck with your update!

Best to plan on 2-3 weeks for a standard size bathroom. To save on time make sure you have your tile and plumbing fixtures ordered and ready to be picked up before the start of demolition. That way the job doesn’t sit still waiting for things to arrive.
3-4 weeks because you’ll need time for city inspections.
