Depends on the project, the GC and the customer. If all goes well and there are no hold-ups, money issues, problems hiring subs, then expect 4-9 months
We like to tell our customers 3-6 months. But that is all depending on the weather, if there are any change orders, how far out subs are booked, and permitting. Depending on where you live permitting can take a month or two at the worst. Here in Hillsborough county Florida, it will take up to two months for permitting, since the construction industry is on such a huge boom; making the building departments behind. Another thing that will help keep the process going other than not having many change orders, is knowing what you want. What finishes you want, and communicate that with you builder, so when it comes to that time in the project they should already have it ordered and ready to be installed. Your builder might also be able to provide you with a lay out of what things you need to pick out or purchase, and when, which will help with the process. Hope this helps!
Depends on the square footage and selections made by owners. We are averaging 6 months on our custom homes around 3,000 square feet.
