What type of building permits would you like to see on BuildZoom?

It depends also if it is in a county island. There are required permits for the county areas also.

It would be helpful if contractors to list the jobs they get from Build zoom contacts, location, type of work and cost.

Buildzoom is using some sources of data but it does create a misrepresentation of what permits have been pulled. I noticed on our site that it shows permits from years ago and nothing that current. If a customer looks at this, then they may think that we are no longer in business or we don’t pull a lot of permits. Not one of my favorite items as it does not accurately reflect permits we have been issued.

We are completely aware of this challenge. If you have been assigned a rep from our industry relations team, you can talk with them and they can actually add any missing permit data into your system; you can also do this yourself through your application. If you’d like I can share more detailed information on how to do this.

Yes please. Not that I have the time to find old permit information right now, but I can put it on the list of things to do to reflect a (more) accurate picture.
