We need to clear lots of dead trees and overgrown plants from our yard. Our house doesn’t have a side yard, however, so there’s no way to bring in heavy equipment. What are our options for clearing the land?
The best way to do it is to bring in a light Bobcat type machine, which is not heavy equipment (though it is close to it). If that’s not practical, then the other way is to do it by hand, which is extremely labor intensive and very costly.
Goats. There’s gotta be someone out there that rents out a herd of goats to eat all the debris.
And if you can’t or don’t want a real goat, rent a billy goat from an equipment rental place. They are small like a push mower, but heavy duty. They’ll eat up thick brush.
The dead trees - depending on size, you may need to hire a professional to cut em down and haul em away.
Another option is to hire loggers that use work horses.
