When it comes to hiring a flooring contractor, what is your number one concern?

Past experience

Hello my name is Raymond and I’m a finish carpenter. When dealing with flooring the contractor that is worried about the condition of subflooring vs what type of flooring to be installed. And my second is the quality of the products used and craftsmanship of said contractor regardless the project.

Hello my name is Luis,
My number one Concern when hiring a flooring contractor would be if they have a contracting license in good standing with CSLB.

When dealing with flooring there are a few things to keep in mind:
the condition of the subfloor

  • a week subfloor can give you some problems with creaking or cracking of the produce
the type of produce & adhesive used
  • wrong type of adhesive with give you problems in the long run.
