We are considering the purchase of a land for the purposes of ground-up SFR and was curious to know some builders’ thoughts on which jurisdictional building & planning departments are the easiest to work with and have the most efficient permitting & review timelines?
I find the town of Atherton to be unique. While they are not always the easiest, they are definitely unique. The atmosphere is more like a respectful family atmosphere. The town of Atherton makes it easier than most to become personal with its employees. I have found that reason is a huge factor in Atherton and when things just make sense, they are willing to accommodate you to help speed up the process.
