I’m doing a full remodel of my home and would like to know if there are tax incentive reasons to prioritize any specific projects, especially since we need to do everything: replace windows, replace HVAC and water heaters, possibly install solar, etc.

There are a variety of tax incentives for improving the energy efficiency of your home. How much you can take advantage of depends on your tax bracket. As a solar contractor, we’re most familiar with the solar Investment Tax Credit.
