We prefer Timberline as the best shingle.
CertainTeed did have some real issues with blistering but I hear they have it resolved. We use Timberline when ever we can.
GAF Timberlines are all we use anymore. Certainteed makes a really nice architectural now but with their past it is hard to sell them . Owens Corning has some really cool colors but the shingles seem a little thin.
