Marbleizing and Micro topping concrete are getting popular on Long Island. Where as years ago a standard brush finish were always used now we are making concrete strikingly more handsome

We’re in Phoenix, Arizona. On the West Coast it seems to be very heavy on polished concrete, from residential to commercial we are seeing more and more business of this type. Homeowners are even tearing up their own existing flooring for us to polish the concrete. More often than not they see it in their local supermarket and gravitate towards it.

Otherwise for residential we do a lot of microtopping, toppings (polished or stained) and a your average 3 coat garage epoxy systems. For commercial, aside from polishing, we see a lot of epoxy work such as seamless quartz floors and urethane cement for industrial kitchens. We also work with a few flooring contractors who have us pour underlayments for them.

it was stamped concrete a few years ago but now people seem to want a more modern simple clean look . architects designers and home owners have been requesting sand finish with saw cuts more than anything recently.

Stain and seal is the most popular finish in my area. Polished is desirable for commercial applications.

Stamped, colored and sealed concrete is very popular in Salem, Oregon on patios, pool decks and entertaining areas. Broom finished is still the go to on driveways and sidewalks. It’s not uncommon though to do a stamped boarder just to spruce it up a bit. It will be interesting to see the trends in the upcoming years. Will exposed make a comeback? Maybe, time will tell.
