There are so many manufacturers out there. The key is to go with a mid grade window which offers a low-e argon gas glass package, and a full welded frame that is insulated. Also budget for a licensed and insured, lead safe certified, aama approved contractor. Your value is going to be in the installation. Most bigger companies use sub contractors like myself to install their products. You will cut your cost in more then half by cutting out the middle man and hiring the installer directly. Installers have access to more then one manufacturer and can help you choose the product that’s best for your budget, while being there every step of the way.
