Many contractors became that way with good intentions in the beginning and due to the stress crap and nature of the business, the customers and the work itself, they became hard and bitter, yet still have to have an income … The way around this is to have good soul and a good mind … always being honest and treating people with respect.
Too many of them are chasing the quick buck. Many operate out of their basement or truck. They have no overhead and simply don’t care about quality - and service after the sale is nonexistent.
We here at Harmon want to develop long term relationships with our clients and their families. We cost more than the “Fly by night” guys, but that’s because we have office space, employees, families and all the certifications, insurances etc. Our clients think we are worth a little more - we do too.
