Probably b/c a lot of people are skeptical, they don’t know too much about it, or they don’t want to pay the higher cost that is sometimes associated with it. Over time though, they are actually saving money. PLUS, there are lots of tax credits by doing home improvements with energy efficient appliances, materials, etc.
There are many fraudulent “GREEN CONTRACTORS” out there who are associated with gov’t suppliers that give us fully unaffiliated/unassociated insulators a bad name. There have been so many people over the years that rode the train for all they could get, besmirching the word green.
