BuildZoom, through its partnership with WOWorks, worked closely with a Saladworks franchisee in Overland Park, Kansas. The franchisee, a multi-unit entrepreneur, valued BuildZoom Premium for its ability to save him time across his businesses.
We sourced three bids ranging from $275,000 to $505,000, with the wide spread caused by confusion over required equipment. To address this, we coordinated meetings with equipment vendors and the franchisor to align the bids for an apples-to-apples comparison. From there, we negotiated lower prices with two contractors, Katanic Built and Kazco Development.
The franchisee ultimately signed with Kazco Development for $338,000 — $15,000 below the adjusted bid after equipment costs were finalized.

- Research buildouts from other businesses and identify what renovations were completed and which builders were involved
