Pono Construction continues their relationship with Grand Canyon University for an estimated $90+ million in new building projects. Permits for a $26.8 million apartment complex, $25.3 million engineering building and a $38.7 million office shell, were issued on November 3rd. The partnership between Pono Construction and GCU began in 1986 when Pono built Grand Canyon University’s first residence hall. Since then Pono has built every subsequent residence hall and many of the academic buildings for the university and its 10,600 students.
