Project Description: Soundproofing for Multi-Unit Home
Property Type: Single-family dwelling converted into 3 separate rental units
Project Goal: Minimize noise transfer between units (through walls, floors, and vents)
Scope of Work:
-Evaluate and implement effective soundproofing solutions, including but not limited to:
-Insulation within walls and crawl spaces
-Acoustic ceiling tiles or other sound-dampening materials
-Vent covers that reduce sound transfer while allowing HVAC airflow
-Contractor must have direct experience with soundproofing (not just standard insulation)
-Provide recommendations for the best combination of materials and methods to achieve maximum sound reduction
