I am purchasing an older home and my due diligence period starts in September. I would like to get an estimate on costs for an electrician to check out the current electrical system and also get a quote for a panel upgrade from the current 100 amp (there's a pun in that sentence!) to 200 220 amp. We need 2 ceiling fans installed. Also outside lights have stopped working. We flipped the breaker and unplugged and replugged. That’s the extent of our knowledge.
