We want to add on to the house to allow us to have a larger master bedroom with a larger bathroom and a walk in closet. It would give us an extra bedroom and then one of the current bedrooms we would get rid of the closet and make our second bathroom bigger. We would also have to do some reconfiguring to make a better flow with the addition. If that ends up out of our budget we would then be interested in just remodeling the bathrooms. The other thing is we want to finish our detached garage to be able to make it into a gym as well as still utilize the other part as a garage.

We love our neighborhood, growing family and want to understand feasibility and cost to build an addition on our home vs moving somewhere bigger. We currently live in just under 2,100 sq ft.
