I am looking to duplex down the 1st unit of this multi-family, 2-unit home.

We are currently in the process of taking down a 21' above ground pool that will be removed tomorrow, weather permitting. We have a Trex deck (20 yrs.) that surrounds approximately half the pool. We do not know if the footings are in good shape that support the deck. The deck itself appears to be sound. We are not considering replacing the deck. We are thinking in terms of finishing off the deck with stairs where the pool was. But do not know right now how sound the footings are until we can see under the deck when pool is gone. We are considering either relacing the deck with a stamped concrete patio. Or possibly keeping the deck and adding a concrete patio where the pool was. We have limited hours for availability on Wednesday. Thursday is the 4th. We would be available Friday 5th....
