  Install 18 driveway paver lights

  $1,647

  Would not recommend for electrical services unless you are installing a ceiling fan or something very minor. Hired this company to install 18 driveway paver lights each $100 from Lumengy Lights. There were red flags from the beginning however his estimate was the lowest and now I am a true believer that you get what you pay for. First visit, Joseph gave me a quote of $1647, that was illegible due to the pink carbon copy. He stated, "I would receive another copy via email", which I am still awaiting. The next visit, he connected the 18 paver lights along side the paving company and when asked to set the lights in the place, he replied, "that's not my job, I'm only here to connect the lights and that was done already." He left most of the lights in disarray with wires partially exposed. They were not protected inside the PVC conduit that I purchased and when asked if this is was the proper method, he replied " I contacted the manufacturer and the lights are made to be buried under the soil/sand." Before leaving, Joseph asked me to purchase a transformer from Amazon, $113, to power the paver lights, in addition to $150 for supplies at Home Depot. These two expenses were outside of his original quote. The last visit was the worst. He arrived after I informed him the transformer was delivered from Amazon. He proceed to install the transformer when I noticed one of the paver lights were not working. After a back and forth exchange of who was responsible for the faulty light, due to a cut in the wire, he told me the light was a manufacturers defect and to purchase another light for $100. Long story, I was very uncomfortable and contacted my ex-husband to come to the house. This is where I would not recommend his services, he left several large holes in my exterior stucco and interior garage, not to mention he was very unprofessional and had a verbal altercation with my ex-husband. The faulty paver light was fixed by another electrician by simply splicing the wire and reconnecting it, so I spent $100 on a new light when it was not necessary. We have made 2 attempts to reach Joseph to restore the holes in the wall and also to install the faulty light and received 1 response that he was out of town. I am discouraged and in disbelief that Home Advisor would recommend this company. If there was a section for photos, I would share. BEWARE!!!!!!
