1st Choice Builders has completed several projects in our house including the remodeling of our guest bathroom, master bathroom, kitchen and living room area. The design and remodeling was a custom European style/modern while the bathroom included a walk in tile shower, jet shower system, home automation and more… part of the design was to reposition the door opening for a much better use of space. 1st Choice Builders staff helped us by selecting all of the finish materials including the tiles, upper and lower cabinets, accessories and more… including the color/style of the paint. Daany included also in his work the remodeling of the guest bathroom, drywall, type of texture, baseboards etc. He has excellent, professional craftsmanship and creativity skills. 1st Choice Builders approach and talent to meet our deadlines were fantastic and he was able to finish the remodeling project on time. We definitely recommend 1st Choice Builders and all the involved people that worked at our house for any type or style of construction or remodeling projects. Me and my wife remodeled our kitchen with 1st Choice Builders. We heard about the company through a family member who did a beautiful ADU with them last year. We hired 1st Choice Builders for our entire house remodeling. We recently purchased this house and it was in an immediate updates. Our supervisor was Danny which during the whole work was very reliable, hardworking person, always available, quickly respond our calls or messages. Like any other remodeling project, we came across several problems which we thought will increase the overall budget BUT Danny took care of them right away. His team, were all wonderful and we have no complain against any of them! They worked hard and fast while making sure that everything works and come out great. We hired 1st Choice Builders to remodel our home which included a completely gutted kitchen, all new electrical rewire, removal of acoustic ceilings, new Travis stone fireplace, refinished hardwood floors, paint of all walls and a tankless water heater. Danny guided the process from beginning to end with care and concern that we would be completely satisfied with the job done by each of the contractors. I am very pleased with 1st Choice Builders. My main contact was Danny who was very congenial and informative from the beginning. Danny originally set me up with Debra, who became my architect and worked with me to develop the plans for my addition. We added a garage, a bathroom, an extra room, and extended the front room. Danny took care of everything with the city hall and I only had to go to the city hall once. The plans came out just the way I had foreseen.

The cost was a little more than I wanted to pay but it was well worth it. From foundation to roof and everything in between supplies were top grade and so was the workmanship. I am very grateful for our foreman, he and his crew worked every day, some weeks including Sundays to get my project done. And to top it all he and Danny kept me informed of their progress and what to expect the following week.

Originally I was told that it would take 4 to 5 months, which was accurate since they finished in a little over 4 months and that was with a few delays caused by the rain.

Danny. Debra and their team were outstanding! We worked with them on our complete kitchen remodel (knocked down a wall, moved appliances, new heated flooring, new cabinets, etc.) as well as some updates that made our sunroom into a much more functional office space. They include a designer in our work together, Dana — she was extremely responsive and knowledgeable and helped us find the best products at the best value. It was comforting to know we had a go-to person to help us throughout the process. We got 5 quotes in the year prior, and when we met Danny, we knew he was our guy. He was patient with our questions and extremely transparent about cost/budget. He was honest with us about scope and what their quote would cover. And he remained honest — when we wanted to expand scope a little, he made it easy. All in all, we're glad we waited to go with the right company! We are very happy on how well our whole first floor renovation turned out. The project consisted of: kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, electrical, flooring and load bearing wall remodeling. Starting to work on our remodeling project, I wasn't so sure how to get construction done by an external person/company i mean i was so concerned with the cost and reliability, but Danny insisted me and my first project goes with him very smoothly and completed within time span, Yeah i know the projects timeline and cost can be increased or fluctuate with circumstances but the way 1st choice builders handle my project definitely recommend them. We used 1st choice builders for 3 contracts over 2014-2015. Our house underwent a major exterior and structural renovation. The second contract involved restoring the front and rear yards. Finally, 1st choice builders renovated a small bathroom on the lower floor.
We were very pleased with all of the work completed by the crew and the sub-contractors.
It was a pleasure working with Danny the owner. He was very good at explaining any issues which arose during the work and giving us options on how to proceed.
We were only to enjoy the house for a short time before we chose to sell and move away. The exterior of the house looked brand new and greatly added to the resale value of the house.

We contracted 1st choice builders to perform a full blown kitchen, mud room and bathroom renovation. This was a three month renovation that turned out fantastic. The project involved taking the walls down to the studs, raising the ceiling, adding a den and installing a stylish modern kitchen and bathroom. If I could give 1st Choice Builders a whole constellation of stars I would. I've been working with their team for more than a decade doing all things that need doing on our old rowhouse. I met them when our architect advised us to find a general contractor who could handle EVERYTHING -- from installing a structural beam to gorgeous finish carpentry. Roof, gutters, windows, tile, built-ins, wallpaper, carpet, custom concrete, millwork and steel, hardwood decking, name it and they did it. But what makes 1st choice builders really special is their incredible dependability. They come when they say they're coming. They suggest a range of solutions and the process around estimates and billing is transparent and fair. They clean up on their way out. If something isn't quite right they come right back to fix it. And best of all, they respond whenever a problem arises. In fact right now they're in the basement, replacing our pre-historic furnace. This is an exceptional company filled with lovely and talented people. Danny , Debra and their team is one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Exceptional quality workmanship, high work ethics, within cost estimates and we were able to move in within the time frame promised. What more can we say about 1st Choice Builders? Danny and his crew, especially foreman Jose and his able assistant Hector, are exceptional. They treated our remodel/addition project with the care and thoughtfulness as if they were working on their own homes. Danny went the extra mile as a contractor and spokesperson on our behalf. He was constantly advocating for us when interfacing with the Planning Office and departments, other contractors, vendors and retailers.

We had a few delays due to supply and demand in this new COVID environment, but we were completely satisfied with the excellent work they performed. I had 1st choice builders come over and put in a beam to replace a load bearing wall and they did an awesome job. Danny, the owner, is a really nice guy and he came over and did the estimate. During the job they did everything right, didn't cut any corners, and made nice clean cuts. I was home while they were doing work and they communicated well with me about what they were doing. Specifically Oscar, the foreman, took the time to show me what they did after breaks and at certain points in the job. After the job was finished, he even took me into the crawlspace to show me where they had built supports to support the beam.

I think that's pretty amazing, I've never had any company take the time to show me what they're doing or did. Most contractors just want to get out as quickly as possible. Would recommend 1st choice to to all my friends and family.

A wonderful renovation experience full of pleasant surprises and no doubt going to remain in the hearts of my family. The new bathroom design is what my grandmother(who passed down this home to me) has always wanted but didn't live to see it realized. We hired 1st Choice Builders for major renovations to our home including creating a master suite, remodeling the kitchen, and adding a laundry room and second bath. 1st choice builders Did a beautiful job with our Kitchen remodel. I worked with Danny and he was really great at listening to my ideas . I really understood my vision to a modern but still organic feeling kitchen , and work hard to get the finishes I wanted. There was a small baseboard details needs to be finished, and they havs been great about coming back to correct these as I find them. All around, A great team to work with!

Overall I had a fantastic experience with Danny and his team. I was looking for a contractor for quite a while to do some upgrades to my bathroom.
