Alex and John are engaging in a carefully orchestrated scheme to defraud customers. Alex shows up first to clean out the sewer line, but he does not try very hard. His job is a well-choreographed performance to make you believe that he actually tries to clear the sewer line. But if he actually cleaned out the line, then there would not be water and waste obscuring the pipe to make it seem like the sewer line had collapsed. John strolls in with his camera to convince you that your pipe has collapsed and since you cannot run the water or flush your toilets, he thinks that he can pressure you into a job that you don’t really need.
The reality of this situation is that Alex Halton and John Jordan are running a con. They prey upon specific targets for profit. On this day, they preyed upon the wrong person and although they may have taken my $249, I will do what I can to keep them from preying upon another person.

By Colter S.August 23, 2019Main Sewer Scope$149Read more
I had one of their technicians named John Jordan work with me on scoping the main sewer line for 2 separate houses that I was looking to buy. The company offered me the service for free. They honored that the first time, Mr. Jordan showed up on time and was professional. I called the company a few weeks later for the second scope and confirmed that they would do it again, for free, because it was a different address. The morning of the appointment, Mr. Jordan called me and informed me that the service would not be free, but they would charge me $149, and he accused me of trying to "game the system." Affronted, I agreed to pay for the service the 2nd time despite what the company had told me. After his appointment, Mr. Jordan called me to get my credit card information, and I requested an invoice to be emailed to me before I would provide that information. He had the incorrect email address, and I provided him with the correct one. The next day, I still didn't have the invoice, and Mr. Jordan called me to collect his payment. I told him that I wanted to pay him, but I still did not have the invoice. He again accused me of playing games with him, and explained to me how much of an inconvenience it was for him to be "tracking me down" to get payed for a service he performed the day before. He finally resent the invoice, and I paid him in full. Throughout the entire process for the work done on the second home, Mr. Jordan treated me with disrespect, was extremely unprofessional, and made it clear that he did not want my business at any point in the future. Needless to say, I won't be giving it to him or anyone at Rooter Connectionz.

By Karon H.April 2, 2019Replace pipe leading to main sewer line$6,798
Ben the owner of the company quoted to replace a sewer pipeline. The quote was outrageously high. When they began the work they didn’t do half of what the bid was. They made an appointment to come back and finish the work on Monday between 9am-12noon. Called the office and Kayla, the rude receptionist, said she’d call the so called technician to see where he was at. I then called her back and she said she’d called him and they were on another job. This is after Ben, the owner, chewed me out because I told him the bid and scope of work and the actual work being done were two different things. I had a bad gut feeling about these people and my gut feeling was proven right!!!

NOTE: Connectionz Plumbing was sold in November 2015 and is under new ownership. Prior reviews do not reflect current management.
Due to the lengthy and difficult nature of our experience with Connectionz Plumbing, I have provided a brief description of our encounter. Please see fullcustomerreviews.wordpress.com/2016/10/04/connectionz-plumbing-review for a detailed account of the experience.
Brief version: We hired Connections Plumbing to install a sump pump. I cannot emphasize enough how much we regret hiring them. I cannot recommend them to anyone.
We encountered the following:
scheduling issues
installers arriving several hours late
changes to the planned work without willingness to adjust the cost accordingly
installers refusing to leave our home after completion of the job (we nearly had to call the police)
the General Manager/Owner yelling at us over the phone for 30 minutes
an offer for the General Manager to complete the work personally, but leaving before the job was fully finished
several requests for final payment before the job was completed
the General Manager insisting on a 5-star review during payment discussions (A positive review should not be a point of negotiation, but rather the natural result of a job well done)
an installer in our home until 11:00pm without discussion or an offer to return another day
the installer leaving us with instructions on how to finish the job ourselves without an offer to return another day to complete the work
a final install that looks shoddy and is a huge eyesore in our homeWe will have to spend hours of our own time to finish the job or hire another company to fix it. After several attempts to contact Connectionz, the owner offered to send someone out again to fix it. I no longer trust them, so I declined, asking instead for a partial refund. The owner refused, accusing me of blackmailing his company when I stated I would reflect our conversation in my review.
Again, I cannot recommend Connectionz Plumbing for any reason. Pictures of the final installation can be found alongside my detailed review on fullcustomerreviews.wordpress.com/2016/10/04/connectionz-plumbing-review

Paid $700 for a main sewer line snake. Only went about 70 feet, got a small clog. No breaks, roots, or anything else. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY'RE DISHONEST AND A SCAM. IT WAS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR $700 WORTH OF WORK, TIME, EXPERTISE, OR KNOWLEDGE.
