We hired 3 brothers to reconstruct our deck. They were the most expensive bid, but because of the professionalism we felt Anthony had, we went with him. Our experience then started when she didn't show up when he said he would, we called and he stated "oh, didn't you get my email?" He sent the email 22 minutes AFTER he was supposed to be at our house. He didn't get our materials in. So, they started three days late. When he stated the job was completed we were left with a "wavy" deck, broken glass panels, broken step, the railing was put on crooked, the panels were put on sideways, backwards, and upside down. They put scotch tape on the railing and then left them in the sun, so the tape is now permanently stuck to the railing. They tore our fascia and then said they were doing us a favor by having a siding guy come in and replace it. But, this guy was deployed and has no estimated date to return to get this fixed. They destroyed our flashing, and water pools in the center of the deck. They put our railing up at 7" from the house, when 4" is code. They came to "fix" this and only moved part of the railing closer, so now we have part of the railing at 4 inches and the other railing at 7 inches. Then we find out the entire deck was not built to code. We have had two other deck builders come to take a look at the project and both companies told us it was not built to code and we should tear it down and start over. Not only we were told this was a one week project, it has been almost 7 weeks and the project is not complete. Save your time and money and go with another company.
