WE first noticed the owner of this company as he beautifully rehabbed an historic home across the street from our own historic home. Impressed, we crossed the street to meet him, he was immediately pleasant, professional, welcoming and clearly knew his craft - given how beautiful the complexity of his work there was! Having contracted with him to side our home, he was just as pleasant here as across the street. To think that he, then mainly on his own, fully sided our large home still awes me. His work on a uniquely-shaped, large historic home is literally "artful", i.e. the work of a man who TRULY cares about what he does, does it well, listens to his customers, even as they ask a few questions here and there, and on and on I could go. To have met and worked with a TRUE MASTER CRAFTSMAN, who is also a KIND, engaging man, then as importantly, is a perfectionist about his work, has been the BEST experience we could have hoped for, but thought was impossible to find in this state, with its lame sole "HIC Contractor licensure" that can be "earned" in a mere few weeks, thus allows more BAD contractors than GOOD in the marketplace. The owner of 4U Siding & Roofing is NOT one of the "herd." He most definitely rises to the TOP of the best of what he does and DID on our home. If we'd had more money, we'd have asked him to do more projects here, but to look at our home- finished as it so carefully was by our Contractor, is to see near perfect work technically, yet simultaneously artfully executed by a CALM, pleasant & engaging man who is surely "going places" in life! Hire HIM if you want to be assured the work on your home is both expertly and artfully completed.
