My garage was in a very bad condition and I didn't used it because of that. I decided to remodel it and it needed full remodel. Not only are they extremely OVERPRICED, the work they did for me was TERRIBLE. The PIPES they installed BURST and TUB IS MOVING. I called about the tub problem so they sent Edgar to look at it. Edgar said the tub is moving because the WORKERS SHOULD HAVE PUT FOAM INSULATION UNDER THE TUB BUT DID NOT and said Smart Homes Inc. would fix it. Edgar came back with his boss, Eden. Eden said the tub is moving because I should have bought a cast iron tub. I told Eden that I wanted a cast iron tub, but Ben (of Smart Homes Inc.) insisted I get the tub I have. Ben told me a cast iron tub can't go on the 2nd floor. I bought the tub they insisted I buy. Eden said they are not paying for anything. I HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING MYSELF. THEY WANT ME TO PAY TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES. ALSO, they had plumbers do the electrical work in the bathroom. The plumbers knocked out the electricity in my entire bathroom, they said they did not know how to fix it. Smart Homes INC. sent another "plumber" to fix the electricity. He could not fix the electricity either & wanted to take down a wall. I said no so they finally sent an electrician who fixed the electricity they knocked out. On top of all of that, plus a whole lot more, I WAS "THREATENED" by Eden. I HAD TO PAY THEM BEFORE THEY FINISHED THE WORK. I was told by Eden, "I have to pay my guys today, you better pay me my money. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M LIKE WHEN I'M ANGRY." I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN. I WAS SCARED SO I PAID THEM.

We reached out to Smart Homes Inc and several other contractors. We met with a few different contractors, however, none were as communicative or on point as Eden from Smart Homes. He came out within a day of us reaching out, quoted us a time in which they would have everything completed by, and accomplished it within that timeframe. They also quoted a reasonable price and ensured everything would be up to standard. Eden made sure to keep us up to date on the project and let us know what was coming down the pipeline. Furthermore, his team was great in ensuring that everything was always cleaned and organized. They also made sure we were happy with everything each day.

The bathroom came out beautifully! Ben and Edgar were always available for me and helped with problem solving. We retiled our tub, redid our shower and got gorgeous new porcelain floors. They also did all of the electrical and plumbing in the bathroom!

We called Smart Homes, inc a week before heading out of the country. Benjamin showed up the same day we called him and started the job the next morning. He did our exterior paint that HOA required. We had a leak in our bathroom too and and Benjamin was able to fix our leak, the walls, put in dry wall to fix the holes in the wall, primer and matched the paint perfectly. It looked like there was never any damage. So happy with how quick everything was done. Benjamin was amazing to work with! Definitely will call him again for more remodels in the future.

Weekend cookouts have always been a tradition of ours. When I first bought my home, I always wanted that master chef backyard. Smarthomes and their representative Ben helped me design and build my entertainers backyard. They found creative ways to build me a gazebo, full outdoor bbq kitchen and fire pit in my backyard. Everything was within budget and a pleasure to see built! Ben was great and I can’t wait to save enough for my next project!

We have built a excellent working relationship with supervisor Edgar and his team. Edgar addressed any concerns. We are also in the process of having the flooring done in our Media Room and Kitchen. Plus we had the Exterior paint on our Home painted. Brothers Israel and Jose did an Amazing job. They were meticulous and extremely detail oriented. We are also contemplating redoing our driveway with pavers and replacing the back patio.

These guys are absolutely a first class outfit! Two extremely important virtues for a contractor to have are quality of work, and follow through on the work to be done. One is just as important as the other and if either is lacking, the results will be less than satisfactory. The representative I dealt with Don Brants, made sure the job preformed for me had both 100%! He was very proactive in ensuring that the job was done correctly, properly and efficiently. My house is 4 bdrm, 2bth and 1700 sq ft and they repaired the stucco and damaged wood, primered and painted the entire house and did a minor electrical job all in a weeks time. When it was all done, it could have been on the cover of any contractor's magazine. Don is very courteous and professional and a perfect representative of this company and it showed all the way down to the crew that actually did the work, all very efficient,courteous and professional. I definitely recommend Smart Homes Inc for your contractor needs and if you are lucky you will be dealing with Don Brants.

Smart Homes remodeled our guest bathroom. They replaced the tub/shower, toilet, vanity, plumbing fixtures and light fixtures, and installed new tile in the shower and on the floor. They also installed grab bars and towel racks. The workmanship was beautiful and the project went quickly-- one month from start to finish. The only thing we would do differently next time is to put more detail into the contract to ensure a clear understanding of all specifics. Overall, the job was well done and we're very pleased.
