If I could give A-1 Allstar Plumbing zero stars, I would. My experience with this company was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional I’ve ever had. They were assigned by my home warranty, and everything went downhill from there.
First, they scheduled an appointment last Thursday, made me wait for hours without any updates, and only after multiple calls (where I kept being told “20 minutes away” for hours) did they finally reschedule. Their plumber eventually came on Friday morning, inspected the issue—a ceiling sewer leak—and promised to submit the report right away. However, they didn’t submit it until Tuesday morning, despite repeated follow-ups from me and the warranty company.
When the home warranty determined that cabinets needed to be moved (for no reason, as the drywall providing access was already available), I called A-1 Allstar Plumbing to clarify. They assured me they’d work through the drywall and scheduled another appointment for today at 12 PM. I left work for this appointment, only to wait for hours again with no action. Finally, they told me to call the warranty company for drywall approval—a complete deflection—because the real issue was that A-1 Allstar Plumbing refused to handle drywall access, despite pretending they would.
This company wasted my time, caused unnecessary delays, and cost me valuable hours of work due to their complete lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability. If you’re assigned A-1 Allstar Plumbing by your home warranty, request a different company immediately. Save yourself the headache!
