Hired A&A Pronto and Wilfredo Portillo to oversee remodels on my condominium in downtown Indianapolis. Price was fair and flexible and Wilfredo and his team were able to work with a variety of custom and personal goals. For example, I found some antique barnwood I wanted to use for shelves, wall, and a rustic barn-door, and the team incorporated that in the project. I found an antique 19th-century cabinet front that was non-standard in size; the team built a cabinet for it and integrated it with the barnwood shelving. The result is stunning, the price is less than I might have paid with a less creative contractor, and the project was completed quickly and without drama.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!
We recently made the mistake of contracting with A&A Pronto for an update to our stair railing. They left us with no railing or balusters on our second floor (including a 2-story entryway) for over 3 weeks after they removed the existing railing without materials to complete the job. They tried convincing us to use substandard materials to get the job done sooner. They claim to be carpenters, but apparently don’t own a saw horse. They cut all the wood on our concrete walkway which resulted in some damage to the wood. They applied stain to the hand-rails in our lawn (on a hot windy day in direct sunlight). They didn’t apply the stain properly so it turned out looking more like paint than stain. We had to stop the job several times for poor work and specifications of the contract not being followed. They also ruined the finish on one of our interior doors after getting oil-based stain on it.
Their response to our concerns was dismissive and antagonistic. This was definitely the worst home-improvement experience we’ve ever had.
Do yourself a favor and go with someone else. Based on our experience, you will be very disappointed if you consider A&A Pronto for any carpentry work!!!
