We had a bad hail storm in July of 2104 which caused considerable damage to roofs and siding In the Highland area. I called a contractor whose name I got from the insurance company and had him come out to access the damage. His inspection was quick and not very extensive. He never even got on the roof. I was not impressed or confident he would catch all the damage my house sustained.
I saw A-Better Exterior across the street doing an estimate and went over to talk with Dan. He told me when the insurance adjuster came out to give him a call and he would be right over to go around with him and make sure all the damage was noted. This impressed me as it was good to have someone who knows what to look for looking out for my interest.
When the time to replace the roof came it was done in a timely fashion. All the Nails, and scrap shingles were removed from the job site.
The siding I had on my house was no longer being made. Therefore the color was not something that could be matched locally. Dan took some of my old siding and had it analyzed to find out exactly what brand and color it was. He then scoured the country to find out if any old stock remained anywhere, or if he could get a color match. It took a little time but the result was as so close to the original color you were unable to tell where the repair had been made.
Throughout the entire process Dan was very easy to get a hold of and addressed any issues I had. I am very happy with the end result, and would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.
