Hopefully, it's not too late for you. This guy is currently under the thumb of the Feds for fraud for PPP funds, among other crimes. Yep, stealing your hard-earned tax dollars.

He lied to me and royally messed up the project at my house. He'll tell you he has a sick mother in Mexico, that he/his wife are recovering from Covid, and wrap up the pile of poo with a prayer-laden Jesus sandwich.
Fortunately, the CSLB dinged him for 14 individual violation and suspended his license for a while. But he's back on the prowl again. Sorry, guys. I did what I could.
Do yourself a favor and keep on moving. -

Short work, used cheap materials, incomplete in areas of the project, over priced for the quality of work; continually asked for mint even though we agreed on a payment plan; check license with license board NOT Buildzoom before starting any projects
Very disappointed with over all results plus something I must now pay to get redone.

The house has two Trex decks on the second story. Both leak when rain falls -- the one at the front of the house allows rainwater into the garage, and the one at the back passes water into the living room.
The Trex boards rest on wooden 1x2's, which in turn rest on a rubbery underlayment which (until recently) kept water away from the plywood covering the rafters.
I hired A & F Construction to take up the Trex boards, repair or replace the 1x2's and the rubbery underlayment as required to stop the leak, and screw the Trex boards down again. They came promptly as scheduled, and worked diligently for three days. I paid them the $10,420 they had estimated, plus an additional $3,000 they requested halfway through the job to cover some additional sealing material.
Unfortunately, using a sprinkler to simulate rainfall -- at a rate common in Half Moon Bay -- revealed that the leak was the same as before. After several weeks of unanswered phone messages, I was able to contact team leader Adan, and learned that he was suffering from COVID-19.
When Adan (and likely some of his crew) recover and can finish the job, a more meaningful (and probably much more positive) evaluation will be possible. Until then, "Terrible" describes a $13,420 effort that didn't accomplish its objective.
