A &G has done work for us three times.
One big patio pour and two smaller jobs. We are extremely happy with their work. The crews are ambitious hard working people who get here, get it finished and clean up after themselves. I have recommended them to friends who were also very satisfied. -

I have hired A&G for at least 3 projects, over the last few years. I was satisfied enough with their work, that I hired them for my largest project, which was their last for me.
I hired A&G to demo and rebuild a deck, off the back side and end of my house. I have a daylight basement home, and the deck in the back of the house was elevated above the basement level, while at the end of the house, it was only elevated about 3-4 feet.
First, let me say that the crew is comprised of hard working, and talented people. I've done enough construction in my life, to know what's good and what's not. I've built a number of decks, and I've also done a lot of metal fabrication. I would probably have rebuilt the deck myself, except I have a number of physical limitations now, and therefore find it necessary to contract out work that I would have done, 10 years ago.
I've got a number of complaints with the project, but my biggest complaint with A&G is that once "they think" the project is complete, it's extremely difficult to contact them when a problem exists. And, when it is possible to get them to come back and discuss the problem, it's almost impossible to get them to agree that the problem exists, and to agree to correct it. That's just half of the problem, however, because even if it's agreed that they will return and correct an issue, nobody does indeed return.
Overall, I was pleased with the majority of the project, however the "devil is in the detail", and I'm detail oriented. 2 of my biggest issues were never addressed or corrected. I suggest having a very well written contract, spelling out your expectations about every detail. Do a walkthrough several times during the project, and hold out enough money until you're 100% satisfied. Once final payment has been made, you may not be able to get anyone to return. -

Excellent! They did a patio around our pool last year.l This summer they are building 4 retaining walls, adding more lawn, sprinkler system, and then concreting our new reconfigured driveway and walkways. They are excellent!

By Bruce M.April 14, 2016Driveway demolish, redesign and pour drive and stairs14 days
A&G demolished an existing cement driveway and Eco-block stairs, lowered the driveway slope and removed high centering slope breaks. After repouring concrete for the drive and stairs our cars can now drive directly into the garages. This was not an easy project since the original driveway was nearly 35% slope with a curve built in to the stairs and drive. A&G were great in communicating design and all the steps involved. They pay good attention to detail and are friendly and respectful. Cleaning up the site at the end of each work day was a bonus. Highly recommended.

I had sidewalk work done. I didn’t complain about all the screws and cigarette butts that we’re left in my yard, I just cleaned up after them.
Shortly after , the sidewalk cracked . I called about it. A couple days later they asked for pictures. They did come to see the damaged sidewalk. He said it odd it cracked where it did, it needed another
Joint in the long stretch of walkway. They said they’d return the following week to make the repair. NEVER CAME BACK. STOPPED RESPONDING TO MY MESSAGES. Today is Oct 19, almost a month
Since they should of repaired the sidewalk.
If they work for you, I hope you don’t have any problems with their work
You may never hear back from them.
