I hope that a permit from the city was not required to demo a master bathroom, Alan had the responsibility of overseeing the project. Very early into the project and Alan's only work involved was removing tile from walls in a very small shower and removal of a garden tub, and applying drywall to the existing very small shower that was closed. I created a new shower area where the garden tub was. The fee for Carl to demo was $6800 for less than 16 hrs. of work. The plumber and electrician were Excellent in their work and cleanup. Alan and the tile person that installed the tile in the new shower were the most expensive. I (homeowner) within the first two days of the project knew that it would be in my best interest to pay for all services directly to Electrician, Plumber, Tile, and all products required in the remodel. I placed a negative review for Wilson's Tile, this was the final phase of the project and the shower and flooring is a disaster and should be re-demo and redone. I take responsibility for the tile worker since I should have asked for references for Alan Goff and Carl E Wilson. Carl was selected for the flooring since I had been waiting on tile and flooring to be installed and unfortunate for myself as a homeowner I believe the majority of demo and remodel personnel working are the lowest grade of experience other than Electrical and Plumbing which thank goodness the experience and knowledge in these two fields was excellent.
