OUR STORY
Allen Hambleton, owner, and production manager of A Pane in the Glass Construction started in the window replacement business at a very tender age. In 2001, his first job was as a telemarketer for another local window company. After learning that cold calling was not his “calling”, Allen joined an installation crew to learn the core of the business firsthand. After 5 years of on the jobsite experience, he formed his own subcontracting crew where he installed on behalf of others for 2 additional years.
With all the experience and knowledge, he decided to start a business and committed to recruit the best people who would focus on providing an unrivalled experience for every customer.
In 2008, A Pane in the Glass Construction started to deliver on Allen’s vision. We are a recognized leader as one of the most highly rated window replacement companies in the Twin Cities metro area.

    Considered for Window Replacement

    Saleman showed up wearing flip flops and no socks or alternate foot wear. Had to walk through house with wet footwear. I've never seen a salesman show up wearing flip flops before. Seemed unprofessional and inconsiderate.

    Doors and Windows project

    Had them replace the front and back exterior doors with new doors and with storm doors for each. It included having to reframe the doorways. The 2 men who did the work were polite and clear in their discussions with my wife and me. They weren't able to finish all the work in one day and so returned in a couple of days to finish the work. They took total ownership for their work and apologized when they weren't able to finish in the single day. They did a wonderful job keeping the mess to a minimum. They kept us apprised of the details and any issues they encountered. I'd happily have them back to do more work.

    A Pane in the Glass has done the majority of my windows including transforming MY FAVORITE room, a 3x Season Porch into an all season porch/extra room in the home now! I love it! Floor to Ceiling Glass, its BEAUTIFUL! Double Hung for easy cleaning, UV Protection blocking the intense sun I get in that room from sun up till sun down. I couldn't be happier! The windows are Wonderful!
    They are professional, polite, neat, clean and TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES when no one asked them to : ) They have Fantastic pricing and the best customer service, I mean FAST customer service!
    I had 2 other window companies do a couple windows each and then I found A Pane in the Glass and LOOK NO FURTHER! Their windows glide like butter on a hot knife compared to the "others" and the security latches are easier to operate and work 1st time, every time!
    You won't go wrong with A Pane in the Glass! I guarantee it!
