Stay away from this guy... He is/has been sued by many people and owes Thousand$ to his vendors, not to mention the sub-standard work done with many jobs ! They have a "B minus" rating with the Better Bus. Bureau (BBB) with OVER a dozen complaints ! A.Pizza Contracting does NOT deliver !!!

Before you hire this company, make sure your health can take the aggrevation, and stress he will put you through. Any other contractor can build the house from the ground and finish it up while A. Pizza will tell your lies and excuses why they fail to work on your project. Anthony Pizza will blame all his vendors to justify his delays, inadequate workmanship, skipping and substituting on materials that should be used. He has no idea what is in the contract and will tell you that he is doing a favor for you when he completes items that are already in the contract. His workers are foreign and speak no English. They are unsupervised and damage everything that is in their path. Also, the work order they do is all messed up: they will put tiles on your floor and then partially remove unneccesary pipes leaving a hole in the floor. Beware and run from them as fast as you can! This guy doesn't deserve anyone's trust or money!

i experienced the same problem. Thousands of dollars of property DAMAGE done to my home and that does not include the work that he was contracted to complete. The work was shameful to say the least. His men were unsupervised, did not speak english and did not know a thing about masonary work. My home is an anxiety provoking mess since this contractor defaced and devalued my home. I give this disgraceful contractor 0 stars. I will be seeing him in court.

We hired Anthony Pizza. His work was unsupervised and shoddy. He repeatedly asked for money ahead of the payment schedule. He cut corners. When he was ahead of the payment schedule he walked off the job. Not only did a lot of the work have to get redone, but there was an issue of significant property damage to the rest of the home. How he continues to be in business is beyond me. Hiring him was a huge mistake. We later found out that we were not the only ones. I wish an experienced lawyer reviewed our contract. I wish I had an independent architect or supervisor with no affiliation to him sign off on all work before he was allowed to collect even one cent. I wish I never came across these people. BEWARE! Save yourself and you family from the grief.

Zero stars; however, your automated system only gave me the choice between one and four.
Less than zero, actually. My experience with this man has been comparable to those of others listed on this site. One difference (among several): this man fraudulently charged $66,000 to one of my credit cards in September 2013. It took me six months to clear my name and credit rating with my bank, with whom I've been for more than 30 years.
I reported this to my local PD, who did nothing. He did worse, but this isn't the proper forum or time to discuss that (even though I already did, to no avail).
I will remain anonymous for now, and will not come forward again unless and until I am assured of my safety. I'm terrified of this man, and most others should be, too. Thank you.
