Hiring a contractor is a process that is fraught with uncertainty for many homeowners. We have all heard stories of dishonest contractors who underperform on the work, overcharge on the price, mysteriously disappear for lengthy periods and generally make life miserable.
The first thing I have to say about Adam Simon and A Plus is that you will never have a question about his honesty and integrity. From the beginning, he was absolutely transparent about costs, and with regard to details where for some reason it was impossible to give us precise estimates, he took care to make sure we understood the various factors which could impact the final cost.
That in itself should be enough to make you want to hire him, but there are many other reasons. Adam remodeled our kitchen/dining room as well as the master bathroom, a powder room and some other incidentals. This was a project that involved not only A Plus as the contractor, but also the purchase of new appliances and fixtures as well as hiring an outside cabinet maker. Adam was fully involved in every aspect of this process even though he made no money from doing so. For example, he twice took us shopping for appliances and fixtures and worked hard to get us the best price possible. Similarly, he went with us to meet the cabinet maker and provided valuable input on materials, design, and costs.
He also helped us significantly with the design of our project, and the fact that we were and are so pleased with the outcome is in large part due to his input.
The name of Adam’s company is A Plus Design and Remodeling….not A Plus Remodeling and you should understand that when you hire Adam, you are hiring much more than just a builder. Adam is project oriented, not just job oriented. In other words, he will guide you and oversee your remodel from start to finish rather than just doing the specific tasks for which you hire him.

A Plus remodeled my Kitchen, Master bath, Guest Bath and Half bath. The job was done professionally, with excellent quality and communication and timing. Adam is a genius at design and my home looked stunning! Everyone that comes to the house is amazed at the transformation! I looked at other contractors and am so glad I chose A Plus. It was fun (as fun as remodeling can be) and I'd never use anyone else again. For Quality, Beauty, and Design A Plus is the only way to go.

Adam remodeled my bathroom and did an amazing job. I couldn’t be happier with the end result of my bathroom. I spent a long time looking for the right contractor and when I meet Adam I knew he was the right fit. I was impressed by the way he presented himself and explained the remodel in detail. There was some minor issues but Adam made sure to take care of them right away. If you are in need of a contractor, contact A Plus!

Adam is the best! Since he is the owner of A Plus, I had high expectations about him and his work. When my husband and I first meet him for the consultation, we know he understood our vision for remodeling our complete house. He was more focused on educating us about the project rather than pushing us to sign a contract. It's difficult to find people that genuinely want to help you. When the work began, Adam and his team worked hard and were very professional. They also made sure to clean up after themselves. Adam also helped us stay on track with our budget and made sure we were happy. Happiness is not easy to achieve when it comes to remodeling, but he made sure not to let us down. There was nothing more we could ask for. My house looks incredible and I get compliments all the time. Thanks again A Plus!
