Water heater is about 3 years old and licked, Home Warranty company First American send them for service, A.R.K Plumbing said has to be replaced and will get the part! March 9 2022. Few weeks later I am still waiting for them to get the part! $500 extra for modification or we have your water heater but will not install ! What is modification? For you to pay and for A.R.K Plumbing to know! Ok , give your credit card number! I said I will pay cash! I was told I am playing games and they do not trust me! First the water heater is under manufacture warranty all that needed to be done was to take the old one to Any HomeDepot and pick up a new one same day! No need to order any thing A.R.K Plumbing told me after few weeks and I called them not them saying they got the part! Pay $500 for modification we have your water heater hostage! I did check with three other plumbers and none of them could see need for pricey modification! Home warranty said they should have been told by A.R.K Plumbing that water heater was under manufacture warranty and they have nothing to do with it and will give me cash out$55.00! Service call was $85.00 and $700 per year to get Home Warranty from First American! Today they called to set appointment for 4/28/2022 I agreed to pay and get it over with but they want my credit card which the woman that said to be the manager I did not get the name I think started with Z will not be charged! So you do you want my credit card when you know I am a home Warranty customer! She said I am playing games and she Did NOT trust me. I still don’t know who doesn’t trust who but for fixing a water heater the most basic of all things $500 modification, about 2 months of delay,
Accusation of not being trustworthy because you want to pay cash and don’t have a credit card! Lied about getting part when the unit is under warranty and not telling the home warranty company. Over charging is one thing if I was shopping around for plumber I would have known about A.R.K Plumbing fees. I had no say and was forced to deal with A.R.K Plumbing by First American Home Warranty, they did not want to get even second opinion and offered $50 cash out!
