A to Z Heating Cooling & Refrigeration

Rich has been keeping our AC and Heating systems in running order for the las 10 years, over 2 different homes. I would recommend him to anybody as a man that does an excellent job at a fair price. Once, I called him to my house early on a Saturday morning because I had a problem. Actually, it the problem was I didn't know how to use the digital thermostat in my new home. He patiently showed me how to program it, and didn't even send me a bill.

Rich is honest and upfront. He does an excellent job at a fair price. He is always courteous and polite, but he will tell you the truth. I've read some of these reviews where people weren't satisfied. All I can say, based on 10 years of experience with Rich Fachet is that either they wanted him to jump through hoops and wanted him to work for free, or they couldn't handle the truth.

Horrible! Do not use these people! They were only on time for the estimate appointment! Received a quote within a week. Agreed on quote and payment. We're supposed to show up Monday morning by email to confirm Sunday evening With time. Getting email back saying they need to reschedule for Tuesday or Wednesday due to car issues. Send them a text and a voicemail to find out if it will indeed be Tuesday or Wednesday so I can make arrangements at home. Get a text saying that I'm badgering them. Text me Wednesday morning 7 AM saying they will be at my place around 10. No one shows they call at 11:45 dropping the call and sending me a text saying to look for other services. I have a one-year-old baby and it was 88° in her room last night and they know! They didn't even offer or provide a temporary option in the mean Time! The worst communication the worst company DO NOT USE!

Rich has been for us, and our friends to whom I refer him, very honest, knowledgeable and efficient. He tells the truth about what needs to be done with HVAC work, and really knows how to repair heater/air conditioner. Most larger firms try and sell new complete systems when it is unnecessary. His skills are excellent enough that he can fix them and not overcharge. He is the first honest HVAC person we've ever had. This is saying a lot, since we have been homeowners for 48 years. Work was not completed as agreed upon and was still charged full price as if it was. I was not home so upon his departure my wife paid him in cash. After talking to Rich and letting him know we were not satisfied I was told "I was a typical homeowner" and that "I don't always get what I want" told him I would pay for his material and an hour worth of time ( he was only there for 2.5 hours). I received a refund for $55 along with an invoice with ridiculously marked up material AND a $35 traveling fee. $445 total for sub par work that needed to be corrected (more time and money), and cleaning up the mess from his work.
