My fourplex is right across the street from the building that blew up in the recent earthquake. I had a big front window blow out. A and Z was recommended and they got out there quick to get the window boarded up. Then they installed a new window and the appropriate framing. It looks good. However, when we talked about price, I was told somewhere in the neighborhood of $800-900 for the job. When I got the bill it was $1,228. In my book, that's not in the neighborhood of $800-900. More like 33% more than I was quoted. Supposedly it took two guys 8 hours to do the work, 3 hours to board it up and another 5 to get the window and install it (even though it was purchased at Home Depot, 10 minutes away from my place). Guess I should have gotten an estimate in writing. Stupid me. Don't be stupid you. Get a written quote.

I had A to Z install a new septic/leechfield and a new foundation for a new build in the summer of 2019. Both projects came out great. Price was below other contractors but he also did some extra dirt work on the property. Quality workmanship, nice guys, and got it done in the very tight time schedule that I had. I highly recommend this company.
